Ch 19 muppets was known as a calling channel

The one thing that peeves me most of all are stations that like to dominate the 19 with absolute rubbish and  personal insults towards others who aren't always on line at the time.

I put up with it for a fair bit of time but then send an sstv picture which if you don't know makes a 'orrible noise for people listening to audio it takes about 1 minute to send which is only a tiny fraction of the time that the guilty ones make me suffer.
Then I get moaned at as if I'm the bad guy.

My sincere apologies to Steve (DDB network chairman) who I nearly deafened this evening.

Magoo is a vile person, I have heard him many times on 19, I feel every town has one or two.

I can only wish that things went back 20/30 years and 14 and 19 were only used as calling channels.
Today 3 breakers within about 1 mile of my QTH have been talking garbage on 19 for at least 4 hours, almost non-stop.

Same this way, you just have to put up with it or wait for a gap. The alternative is change band of course or if your radio has 'Scan' function try that on each band.

Just got back from Ford, East Sussex, (NOT THE PRISON Ahem) and there seems to be a bunch of Magoos out there doing the same to key out the DDB net, and I have no idea why they spend good money to annoy everybody who just want to be friendly and have a chat.
I thought that sort of stuff died in the 90s
