Paul G4IKI the repeater keeper of GB3IW says the licence runs out in May and he is retiring as repeater keeper. So it looks like GB3IW will be no more.

Bad news if nobody takes it on, it's my favourite repeater with clear signal and the most active that I can access.

It went 'off air' on 17th April but I keep 'em crossed that it will return in the near future.

GB3IW did come back online but very weak, the guys are having a re-jig to improve the situation.

This afternoon I heard a couple of operators using the Repeater, sadly I can't open it from my home base in Brighton.
Up until earlier this year I could open it without any problems, but in it's new location it's a no-go for me.
