Paul G4IKI the repeater keeper of GB3IW says the licence runs out in May and he is retiring as repeater keeper. So it looks like GB3IW will be no more.

Bad news if nobody takes it on, it's my favourite repeater with clear signal and the most active that I can access. :'(

The secretary of the IOWRS saying "don't worry, IW will be OK".

Let's hope he is correct! 8)

A quote from Alan Shaw:
QuoteAccording to RSGB listings GB3IW licence lapsed on 14th April 2023. a sad loss, Paul did a grand job keeping it on air.

It went 'off air' on 17th April but I keep 'em crossed that it will return in the near future.

GB3IW did come back online but very weak, the guys are having a re-jig to improve the situation.

It is hoped to have it up & running this week.

This afternoon I heard a couple of operators using the Repeater, sadly I can't open it from my home base in Brighton.
Up until earlier this year I could open it without any problems, but in it's new location it's a no-go for me. :(
