Hi All,

I thought i would sign up and see whats on the forum!

I have no historic radio experience, CB passed me by in the 80s! I bought a pair of motorola PMR walkie talkies about a year ago as i thought they would be useful for work. Then heard Ray on a mon night and started regularly listening in. It took about 2 months to figure out how the net worked before i wandered onto the air waves! Now i'm hooked with PMR and just starting CB. I prefer to go wandering rather than staying at home and am happiest lobbing antennas into trees in the middle of random woods

PS not particularly forum experienced so i've probably put this in the wrong place

Hello Neil welcome to the site, thanks for the good introduction & yes it's in the right place.

I heard you from Wrotham Hill quite well in Brighton, certainly good enough for a two way. That's not bad for 58km (36 miles).
