Well done Tony on your bronze award 🥉 👍

It must have been uncomfortable crouched in the bushes waiting to pounce on a poor unsuspecting
POTA station LOL 🤣🤣

Thanks Ray, it actally wasn't too bad as I took the office chair with me. ;D

Nice one Tony. It's not something I have gotten in to yet, but I should give it a go as the POTA admin for England, April M7APR, is a member of our local club and has been promoting it.

I find it good fun trying to get stations to hear me on 20-25W.
I only started 8/9 days ago as a local buddy (Toby M3TJT) started activating POTA's & suggested I might enjoy Hunting, boy was he correct.

Good Hunting/Activating if you do start Neal.

I signed up yesterday and worked 2x on 20m digi. It's a start :) Look forward to hunting some down on phone modes in the future.

I only use max 25W as a general rule too, 10W max on digi modes. If conditions are right and the antenna is working well, that level of power is plentiful to work the world.

I wonder if there is anything like this for us 11m CBer's?
🤔

Great to hear Neal, I also have a few digi POTA contacts but prefer the phone ones now. :)  8)

I'm not aware of any Ray, but will look into it. Maybe someone else can come up with a diffinitive answer to save searching.
I wonder if @OnTheMicwithMike has the answer as he is a font of all knowledge. :-\

Nice one Tony.

My stats are showing today as 5 parks hunted with 5 QSOs. But I have only had 3 QSOs. Don't know if it's a quirk with the site I don't know about or if there's some funny business going on with the activators logging. I'm still learning.

M7DVQ

I haven't got my head around that behavior yet, I'm sure it will become clear in time. :-\
I had a QSO with a Polish guy a couple of days ago and he appears to have activated four parks at the same time!

My god, they love dishing out certificates. :o

Edited to add: Your Hunter Log should show you where they came from, could be one or two activating more than one at a time or even FT8. Maybe two were before you signed up, the log should show you.

M7CTR (CT Ray) is available. Just a few multiple choice questions away  ;) lol

I will soon run out of wall space at this rate. 8)
