Bernie is fine by me, Yes I just need to bolt the antenna to the house and All systems go

Seem to reach the IOW very well, No contact on the mainland yet

Around my neck of the woods there is often nobody on local(ish) to chat to. Sometimes hours can past with none and then a pile up with many on.

For local on UK Ch14 or 19 give a call out every few minutes that usually works for me, here it's mainly 19 but some near you use 14 as a calling channel.

MIDS/CEPT/EURO or whatever you want to call it is mainly for UK networks and overseas stations which is best afternoons and evenings.

Well all sorted now, radio tuned in, antenna as high as I can get it. Happy now

I am getting out to Bournemouth and Pool, and now picking up from South Africa, And all in between.
loads from Spain, Italy, France etc but cant get back yet
