11th & 12th May. Various clubs, teams or groups of amateurs will approach their local windmill or watermill owners and societies to celebrate both our history and our communities.

In my neck of the woods it is in the car park at Jack & Jill Windmills @ Clayton (next to Jill Mill) from 8 - 5pm BST with Mid Sussex ARS in attendance. EDIT: Only Saturday at Jill Mill.

All welcome to have a chat or operate the radio.

Ooops, sorry Ray it's only Saturday this year at Jack & Jill. :-[ (I had added it in the Calendar for Sat only but forgot to mention it in the post).

I have searched local Kent/Sussex club sites for this event but all their websites are not up to date.
There will be a lot around but finding them is a major task.

This coming Sunday, our first special event station of the year is at the High Salvington Windmill with the callsign GB0HSM. This windmill is just above Worthing and it will be open for tours throughout the afternoon. Many other mills around the world will be on the air for this event and we try to contact as many of them as possible. The windmill website is www.highsalvingtonwindmill.co.uk.
